Christmas Field Trips - Homeschool Day

Our field trip day runs from 9:00 am-1:15 pm. We will be having demonstrations in our new education center for the first time this December! During your visit, students will move through 4 stations. A tour of the 19th-century log cabins, a blacksmithing demonstration, an Appalachian Christmas music lesson, and a Christmas basket-weaving lesson that students may take home with them. There will also be a 30-40 minute lunch break after the first 2 rotations and a seating area for dining. We do not have food available on-site. We can however provide refrigeration for boxed lunches near the seating area. Itineraries will be sent to your email on December 1st.

*Due to the ratio of students to teachers homeschool teachers will need to purchase a Chaperone Pass.
